Arganour is a certified and conscious natural cosmetics brand that focuses on the effectiveness of ingredients and active ingredients of natural origin to develop innovative formulas that respect the planet. Our commitment to the environment has led us to use ingredients of natural origin as well as to integrate biotechnology and upcycling processes in the formulation of our products. For more than 10 years, we have been committed to safety and transparency in everything we do, from formulation to packaging and labeling. That is why we are one of the first natural cosmetics brands to certify all our products and formulas.

All of them undergo certification processes by recognized international organizations: CAAE and ECOCERT. Two impartial and independent certifiers that have created different standards to ensure the quality and origin of ingredients, packaging and cosmetic products.

The purpose of these certified natural cosmetics seals is to achieve a more sustainable world through environmentally friendly practices.

ECOCERT is an internationally recognized institution and a benchmark in organic cosmetics that ensures and verifies the quality and origin of cosmetic ingredients through the COSMOS quality standard. This certification meets a series of requirements: to opt for ecological and healthy production and processing procedures for consumers; to use natural resources responsibly; to avoid the use of GMOs and petrochemical ingredients in formulations; and to choose recyclable packaging.

Ecocert Cosmos Natural: At least 99% of the ingredients used are of natural origin. Excluding the use of any ingredients of animal origin such as beeswax or sheep wool. This standard grants the natural certificate. Available at this link.

Ecocert Cosmos Organic: At least 95% of the vegetables must be organically grown and 20% of the ingredients in the formula must be organic, 10% in the case of rinse-off products. This standard grants the organic certificate. Available at this link.

CAAE is an entity in charge of certifying organic cosmetics, vegan cosmetics and cruelty free cosmetics, ensuring that all cosmetic products are not of animal origin.

Standard vegan certification: One of the most present seals in vegan cosmetics as it guarantees that all ingredients used in the composition and elaboration of a cosmetic product are not of animal origin and have not been tested on animals.

Cruelty-free certification: This standard aims to ensure animal welfare, avoiding any possible action of animal abuse such as the use of animals for the collection of raw materials or their exploitation by altering their environment.

In Arganour we watch over animal welfare and to guarantee it, all our cruelty free cosmetics have this seal on their packaging and label. This way, we can guarantee that no animal has been exploited, mistreated or experimented with for the production of our cosmetics.

All our cosmetic products go through a meticulous research process to obtain the organic, vegan and cruelty-free cosmetic certificates. Throughout this procedure, the certifier analyzes and audits each step of the value chain from sourcing, manufacturing, marketing to product control.
