What are the properties of tea tree oil?

If tea tree oil is known for anything, it's its properties. Therefore, it's no wonder our ancestors used it to soothe and treat various problems.

  • It helps soothe and reduce bacterial infections.

  • It eliminates parasites and prevents the formation of fungi.

  • It helps treat infections such as herpes.

  • It controls sebum production, preventing skin pores from becoming clogged and reducing the appearance of pimples.

  • It accelerates wound healing.

How to use tea tree oil?

Thanks to its properties, versatility, and effectiveness, this 100% pure, natural essential oil is used to treat various problems such as acne, dandruff, nail fungus, cold sores, and head lice.

At Arganour, we'll tell you how to apply tea tree oil. Take note of its five main uses!

  • Acne: Apply a drop of tea tree oil directly to the pimple and let it dry.

  • Cold sores: Place a drop of oil on a cotton swab and apply it to the cold sore.

  • Dandruff: Mix 3 drops of tea tree oil with your usual shampoo, distribute it over your scalp, and let it sit for 15 minutes before washing it out with plenty of water.

  • Lice: As with dandruff, simply mix a couple of drops of the oil with your shampoo and distribute it over your scalp. Then, shampoo your hair thoroughly.

  • Fungus: Apply a drop of tea tree oil directly to the nail and massage in, both morning and night.

Although tea tree oil doesn't pose a health risk, we don't recommend using it while breastfeeding or during pregnancy. Additionally, after use and if you're going out, we recommend applying SPF 50 sunscreen
